ABOUT OUR CLUB

The UW-Madison Pre-Pharmacy Club brings students together that are interested in pursuing a degree in the various fields of pharmacy that arise from earning a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. At club meetings, guest speakers (practicing pharmacists in a range of industries and clinical specialties) explain and answer questions about the many aspects of pharmacy while sharing their own personal experiences in the field. Meetings also include helpful tips and advice for how to improve your application to pharmacy school from advisors, current students, and alumni. We also host study jams, provide volunteer opportunities, and involve members in fun events such as the Polar Plunge or Relay for Life. The Pre-Pharmacy Club is a great way to meet new people who are interested in pharmacy and learn more about this profound medical field!
