Day in the life as a resident

• M-F morning pre round, consist of lots of fellows, residents, attendings

• Meet with preceptor, topic discussion

• Projects - pre rounding, research, topic decisions, get ready to precept students 

Residency

• First year if residency go to different rotations and get broad experience - general

Cardiology 

• Felt a pull to it during her second year of school 

• Was able to participate in cardiology electives

• Wants job in cardiac intensive care unit

• Applications open in November, due January 1st
